Embrujá (literally “Bewitched”) is a traditional flamenco show which transports us to an earlier time. Flamenco dancer Leilah Broukhim has invited celebrated pianist Pablo Rubén Maldonado from Granada, Spain for an program full of magical melodies, vibrant rhythms and mesmerizing artistry. Also featuring a singer, guitarist and percussionist, the company presents flamenco dance and musical numbers such as a charming alegriás with a bata de cola (longtrained dress) and zambra in the style of Lola Flores and Manolo Caracol. A whirlwind of powerful emotions take center stage, casting a spell on the audience as they experience true and intimate flamenco.
